Air Filters
An Air Filter is a device which removes solid particles such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from air. Air filters are used in applications where air quality is important, notably in building air conditioning systems. Air filters are found in most all heating, and air conditioning systems. Since efficacy drops beyond a certain dirt-loading level, filters must be serviced regularly. Therefore, we have a variety of different types of HVAC filters available.
Changing Air Filters
Air filters should be checked frequently; in particular during heavy use months if the filter looks filthy it should be replaced. The air filter should be replaced on a regular schedule. An unclean air filter will slow down air flow and make the system labor harder and use more power. Inappropriate air flow can cause air conditioning machinery to freeze. A clean air filter will also prevent dust and dirt from building up in the system which can lead to costly repairs or system breakdown.
